Gary and Terry recently completed a partial bathroom renovation for me which consisted of the installation of a new tub, tile surround and tile flooring. I communicated with Gary via email with the particulars of my project and he was prompt in answering any and all questions I had (they were plentiful) prior to the start of the work. Before the project commenced, Gary communicated his timeline to me and continued to do so throughout.

Gary and Terry were considerate of my home, protecting any surfaces that could possibly be damaged by them or their equipment during the course of the day. They arrived when they said they would and also cleaned up thoroughly after each day’s work.

Gary and Terry make a great team and I will not hesitate to call on them the next time I have a home improvement project in mind.

Finding the right contractor for your home improvement project can be so stressful. We are thankful we went with Fix it by Design! Gary and Terry were amazing, extremely professional, and the quality of work was exceptional! I was referred to Gary, by a friend, after mentioning that we needed some tile work done in our bathroom. Gary did such a great job that I kept thinking of more and more things I wanted him to fix. He’s installed wood flooring, built custom utility room shelving and cabinetry (from a design we found online), installed sod in our yard, painted accent walls ( with those pesky rounded corners ) and rooms, and put in a nice recessed electrical outlet for hanging a flat panel on the wall. If you have something that you’ve been meaning to do yourself or just an idea that you want in your house, Gary is the man. I should add that his colleague Terry is equally as skilled and helped a great deal in a number of the projects above.

What I like most about Gary and Terry is you tell them what you’re envisioning, they estimate cost and keep you in the loop along the way. They are also very patient with explaining each step (if you’re into that). You can tell by the quality of work that Fix It By Design does things the “right” way and to your satisfaction. In fact, I had a construction manager comment that our wood floors looked better installed than his and asked who did them. I’ll only use Fix It By Design for my house projects.

We hired Gary to refit our house with new flooring and a kitchen and bathroom remodel. Gary and his staff were so helpful and considerate and did their best to work around our home schedules ( I work from home).

The quality of the work was first rate, and Gary’s input into our ideas just made our home “Pop”. we asked for quotes from some of the bigger renovation contractor companies and was shocked at how high they were. The quote we received from Gary was much more reasonable and the end price, after we asked for some changes and upgrades as the job continued, made us very happy.

I thoroughly recommend Gary and Fix it By Design as a first rate contractor and a we enjoy his great work every time we walk into our home.
